Harvey, the owner, began his career in the insurance industry in 1992, mainly writing life insurance. He added annuities and financial planning a few years later. In 2006, he decided to become independent and added health insurance to his portfolio. In 2012 he incorporated the Harvey Lewis Insurance Agency and a year later his daughter, Heather Scholz, joined him in the business.

Harvey and his wife, Pat, love to travel. Harvey also enjoys spending time with his daughters, Heather and Pam, and his grandchildren. Harvey has many interests including poker, boating, golf, bowling, coins, and trains. Being a veteran himself, he takes great pride in volunteering at the VA. He is also the veteran’s service officer for the VFW Post #1163 and American Legion Post #146, the veteran’s volunteer coordinator for the Elks Lodge #666, and the chairman of the Dodge County Veterans Service Committee.
